Last updated: [fill in date of publishing]. This policy covers Triad, a browser-based chord keyboard, sequencer, and loop pedal.
Triad has no server and no account system. Everything you do — the chords you play, the sequencer tracks you write, the theme you pick — happens entirely in your browser. The only thing saved is your theme choice, stored locally on your device via localStorage; it's never sent anywhere. Song codes you export or import are just text you copy and share yourself — Triad doesn't store or transmit them.
Triad uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and how they use it (e.g. which pages are viewed, general location, device/browser type). Triad also uses Google AdSense to show ads. Both services may set cookies or use similar technology in your browser to collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and browsing behavior, and Google's advertising cookies allow it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
If you're located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you'll see a consent banner on your first visit letting you accept, reject, or manage these cookies before any non-essential data collection happens. Visitors elsewhere can still opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google's Ads Settings, and can learn more about how Google uses data from partner sites at Google's Privacy & Terms page.
Triad is not directed at children under 13, and knowingly does not collect personal information from them.
If this policy changes — for example, when ads or analytics are added — this page will be updated with a new "last updated" date above.
